Does this sound correct? I can take a picture in the Morning to clear things up. So if your looking at my Solenoid the battery side is on the left along with the small light blue wire and silver ring side of Diode and the controller side is to the right. and nothing happens when I hit the throttle but the controller does click on and turn green.
sounds right but does the solenoid click when pedal is pressed?

When I cut the key on I hear a loud click which I think is the controller cutting on. Then when I spress the forward/reverse switch to forward it clicks agian (which is the same sounding click as when I cut the key on so I think its the controller clicking aslo.) When I press the pedal there are no other clicks from teh solenoid. And I would try to check the program setting but the cord and software I ordered from EVdrives still hasnt come in yet.

Do You have a picture showing where your MCOR is mounted bc I cant find anything that looks like that.

The click is the solenoid making /breaking contact. It sounds like it is working correctly. Is the controller LED light turning a solid green when you press the gas? No red flashies?

The software can be downloaded at Alltrax website and the cable can be purchased at Radio Shack fir about $38, they are expensive.

If you could get into controller to program you would have some diagnostic tools available and yoi could see if your getting any throttle input.

My Mcor is in the same spot as your throttle, the thing with the wires going into it. My mcor has two wire harnesses and two plugins.

What was the model number o your old Curtis controller?

Like I mentioned in my earlier post yesterday the 2009 model is the year that the Alltrax controllers are hit or miss with the Precedent. CC had a different throttle configuration that year and the signal is not one that the controller reads easily. I am going through the same thing with a new 2012 model right now because once again CC has gone to a MCOR3 which is different then any earlier ones. The controller should not click when switching from F/R and that makes me wonder if something is not connected properly. One test you can do to verify the throttle signal if you have a volt meter is disconnect the 16 pin harness, switch your meter to ohms and put one lead on the yellow wire and one on the white...they should both be next to each other on the end of the plug. Post your reading of what you get with pedal up, pushed halfway and all the way down. The signal should be smooth so the numbers should NOT bounce all over the place but react closely with the movement of the pedal as it goes up and down. The controller should work fine without touching the software as they are already setup for the IQ configuration.

When I press the gas the solid green light stays green. The solenoid Clicks when I cut the key on and then a few seconds later it click again. Then It clicks agian when I press the forward/reverse switch to forward. and the light stays green on the controller.

K, thats good.

I have never seen that MCOR anywhere, not even offered on any of the supplier sites I have visited, they all sell the "normal" mcor and say they are good on 2004 and up. Anyway, you certainly have a different animal.

You could pull the wire harness and check throttle signal but what difference does it make if the alltrax does not read it, and that is why I say you need to get into programming it because you can monitor throttle input and see what the controller sees.

Also, what they said, Controller on at key on, no other clicks until throttle is depressed and controller engages solenoid, and that 400 amp solenoid makes a pretty loud click, then after releasing the pedal, a few seconds later you will hear another click which is the solenoid disengaging. There should not be any other clicking, and none when switching to forward or reverse either.

Anyone have any additional info on his MCOR? Maybe some better pictures? If the problem stems from the MCOR, I wonder if you could convert it to the older MCOR.

That is why Alltrax put out this bulletin http://www.alltraxinc.com/files/ProductBulletin04.pdf
For that year CC tried a different MCOR and the signal didnt work with the DCX. In 2010 CC went back to the old throttle and thats what its been until 2011. Now they have had another great idea of introducing another new MCOR3 and here we go again. I would love to know the reasoning behind this because I have not seen or heard of many MCOR failures to warrant a new design. On top of that I would love to know how the Curtis can read and process a signal that jumps from 7K-24K and everywhere in between when the throttle is moved just a little. The only reasonable conclusion I can see is that they want CC customers to stay with OEM Curtis controllers. With the DCX I hooked up on a customers Precedent it powers up and acts fine but the throttle doesnt respond until the pedal is pressed halfway down and then it drives erratically putting power to the motor on and off giving me whiplash. But it somehow works perfectly with the stock Curtis 1515-5210. Here is a picture of of the MCOR3 which is on a 2012 Precedent. There are 2 wire harnesses but the one is disconnected in the picture
