For that year CC tried a different MCOR and the signal didnt work with the DCX. In 2010 CC went back to the old throttle and thats what its been until 2011. Now they have had another great idea of introducing another new MCOR3 and here we go again. I would love to know the reasoning behind this because I have not seen or heard of many MCOR failures to warrant a new design. On top of that I would love to know how the Curtis can read and process a signal that jumps from 7K-24K and everywhere in between when the throttle is moved just a little. The only reasonable conclusion I can see is that they want CC customers to stay with OEM Curtis controllers. With the DCX I hooked up on a customers Precedent it powers up and acts fine but the throttle doesnt respond until the pedal is pressed halfway down and then it drives erratically putting power to the motor on and off giving me whiplash. But it somehow works perfectly with the stock Curtis 1515-5210.
Yea I read that before and that is kinda what I meant in my post #8 on page one but I referred to it as Elite instead of I2. However, his controller is the same as IQ, so only the throttle assembly differs, so the wiring should still be the same at the controller connection. I bet it would be pretty easy to convert the whole throttle assembly back to the old MCOR style, if in fact it can be verified that that is the reason his sytem is not working.

It may work changing the throttle to the older stye because as far as I know everything else is the same. It would be an expensive test but it looks like all of the throttle controls CC has used have a 2 pin and 3 pin harness but it all comes down to how that signal is read and processed. Alltrax may be able to give more insight into whether or not that will work or not. I wouldnt give up all hope yet if it doesnt work because FSIP may carry a GE or other unit that could be compatible with that year cart.

Here are a couple pics of my MCOR, one shows where the pedal rod is inserted and the other where the two wire harnesses plug in, I think there are three wires on one andd two on the other.

Yea I was wondering if the GE controller could do a better job reading throttle, never got any feedback from anyone.

I am going through the same thing with a new 2012 model right now because once again CC has gone to a MCOR3 which is different then any earlier ones. The controller should not click when switching from F/R and that makes me wonder if something is not connected properly. One test you can do to verify the throttle signal if you have a volt meter is disconnect the 16 pin harness, switch your meter to ohms and put one lead on the yellow wire and one on the white...they should both be next to each other on the end of the plug. Post your reading of what you get with pedal up, pushed halfway and all the way down. The signal should be smooth so the numbers should NOT bounce all over the place but react closely with the movement of the pedal as it goes up and down. The controller should work fine without touching the software as they are already setup for the IQ configuration.
The picture shows my volt meter and what I have it switched to which I think is Ohms? I unplugged the harness from the controller and put one lead in the yellow wrie terminal and the other lead in the white wire terminal and cut the key on and it doesn't read anything regarless of where the pedal is. It may be that the probes werent touching the terminals but I pressed them as far as i could into the harness. Am I doing this correctly?

Too bad someone does not have access to both MCOR's so we could figure out what it would take to make it work on your guys throttle and pedal assembly. Your new MCOR has to look pretty similar where the pedal rod attaches.

I switched the small light blue wire and the small dark blue with white stripe wire around on the solenoid. (see picture below). Now when I cut the key on there are no clicks but the green light flashed then stays solid green. but when I press the throttle nothing happens and the solenoid doesnt click. Is this the correct way these to small wires should be?

Also If i could the key on with forward/reverse selector in forward the controller will flash red three times indicating the throttle hasnt gone to zero and when I flip it to nuetral the contrller stays solid green again.

That is opposite of how I have mine. Striped wire on controller side and solid blue on bat side. The bat side is the side where the large post goes to the bat pack and the controller side is where the other large post attacheds to the controller.

Yea in that picture on my previous post the left big wire goes to the battery back and the right big wire goes to the controller. So I have the two small wires backwards? If I put them the other way (light blue on batter side and visa versa) thats when it clicks when I cut the key on and clicks again when I put it in reverse or forward.
