Default Is this normal 19 mph?

Hi

I have a 2010 precedent 4 seater with the basic 8" tires. I am able to reach
19 mph but it feels slower.
I paid for code 4 ($100).

When l drive behind a stock ezeego it seems to be going faster.

Aldo when l am driving own a large hill when l reach 20mph the cart starts to
break. So l would guess there is some kind of governor that doesn't allow it to go any faster.

Any ideas

Thanks

Alan

19 mph is about right for code 4,the motor has a regan braking system in it, it will slow you down when you let off the go pedal or go down a hill, thats normal too......

Yel that is the speed sensor telling the controller you are exceeding the max speed so the controller starts regen braking. The 19 mph is right on for spoed setting 4.

You will need a motor upgrade to go faster

Yea that will get you more speed as long as you have enough torque to turn them the same rpms as you have now. But you will most likely have to raise the cart with a lift kit. So if you ask me the best alternative is a motor.

Larger tires alone won't change the regen feature though.

A new motor will eliminate regen

Or speedy link or magnet for speed sensor might reduce or eliminate regen braking.
