Default 36 Volt Motor Wiring

Can someone please tell me which one is A1, A2, S1, and S2 on this motor?

I've looked at the wiring diagrams, but they're too fuzzy for me to read the writing on them and the motor is not marked at all from what I can see. The color codes are wrong on my cables from what I can tell, so I can't go by that either.

I'm trying to wire up the old motor to a complete 1998 Club Car controller electrical system so I can get the cart running again.

Thanks,
-Scott H.

Scott,

It looks like my stock 36V motor.

1. A1
2. S2
3. A2
4. S1

The motor should be stamped with all the markings, they get filled in after years of use. Try scrubbing around the area and you might uncover the markings.

I hope that this helps!

Thank you, it does help me greatly!

I tried cleaning the area with 409 and a synthetic scrubby, but my ruined back just will not let me bend over for more than 10-15 minutes right now before I'm in major pain.

I tried searching on here with no luck before I asked and couldn't find the answer. My next step was going to be renting a power washer and hoping I didn't mess anything up.

You just saved me from spending money I honestly don't have right now, especially with the holidays quickly approaching!

Thank you once again,
