2008 club car 48 volt melting battery terminal
Hello my friends. I am having a problem with a 48 volt cart melting the terminal off the battery. I have traced all wires and have found nothing so far. Can you give me any ideas of where to start on this project. The battery is about 2 years old and has good voltage.

Re: 2008 club car 48 volt melting battery terminal
There is a loose connection somewhere allowing resistance to build up and thats where the heat is coming from. Loose connection meaning wire nut not tight or corrosion build up on the wire or connector that has deteriorated it. Could be inside of the lug where you cant see it even if you have gone over everything and found nothing yet.
