On board computer problems
So I've got a new to me 2000 club car ds (regen 2). It was given to me and was in pretty bad shape. The cart didn't come with a charger. I'm at the point in the build of being ready to drop some new batteries in her and buy a charger. I've also noticed the obc has a large black burn mark on the plastic case. I've seen companies that offer chargers and recommend bypassing the obc. It is my understanding that the obc just controls the charger and does nothing else. Can anyone confirm that and has anyone else tried this. I don't really want to spend 200 bucks on the obc if i can just buy an automatic charger.
