Making a "z bracket"
I was wondering if anybody had some good dimensions for making a z bracket to lift my club car about 8 inches. Thanks in advanced.

Re: Making a "z bracket"
Its a 98 club car and I want to run 23" tires. I was wondering how much of an angle I needed bc I didnt really want the front tires sticking to far forward on the cart. I want to be able to clear the tires but not look funny. Pictures would be great. Thanks.

Re: Making a "z bracket"
I was also curious if 1/2" aluminum 2 3/4" wide would be strong enough if I bolted the 3 peices together to make each bracket or would it be better to use 1/4 steel and weld. Reason im asking bc I already have a peice of aluminum laying behind garage. Sorry so many questions but I just want to get all my ducks in a row. Thanks

Re: Making a "z bracket"
Thanks for the picture. You did a good job making that. It looks sweet. I guess I would be better off finding some plate steel and making one solid piece like you did instead of using that aluminum. What size tires are you running with that lift.
