Steering Wheel Removal
OK, I'm about to give up! How the heck does the factory steering wheel come off? I have the nut removed but the wheel just won't budge!

Re: Steering Wheel Removal
Okay it is a modern wheel with the big center. Put the nut back on like two threads only so it is loose. Use a large non marring hammer to beat it off from the under side. Have seen one fellow use two hammers to equalize the force. I like the dead-blow hammers from cheapo Harbor Freight.

Re: Steering Wheel Removal
Club Car makes a puller for this wheel but it costs about $180. I suppost a guy could make one but most people don't pull enough of them to warrant the effort. Good luck!
This was my solution to the old style wheel. The measurements are different but, principle remains the same. >>>>>> http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/desig...de-puller.html |
