DS with 25's
Anybody have a ds with 25" tires? How tall of a lift did you need?

Re: DS with 25's
I thought you did one awhile back. My homemade Z-lift is 6-1/2 up and 5 forward plus Allsports 6 inch blocks in the rear.I could run 25s if I wanted to.I think 7-1/2 to 8 is what is needed for a bolt on lift though.

Re: DS with 25's
I built a Z lift to fit 25's before but was wondering if anyone has ran that size with a standard 6" lift? I've had 25's on my old TXT with a 6" lift that looked good and didnt rub but 6" might be close on a ds.

Re: DS with 25's
Yeah i remember that cart I agree that a 6 inch would be cutting it close but low vehicles with huge tires seem to be the in thing right now in the 4x4 community for stability off road. Maybe trim up the fenders and see how it looks.

Re: DS with 25's
I have a gas Lynx hunting vehicle, (an upgraded DS)
It's got a 7" lift (factory Z, and 3" Jake's spindles) wheel spacers, and 25's on it, and it only rubs during heavy off roading! Here's the thing with mine, it may have a HD front spring compared to a standard cart, it has almost no articulation, and and can be quite "bone jarring" over bumps! But it's a campground cruiser, and I like the way it sits! IMHO... 6" may just not be enough! with HD springs front and rear, and no additional passengers, or off roading... you might be able to "squeak" by! But, 7 1/2" with any aftermarket lift would be minimum that I would go with when running 25's! and just to add... with a sparky, you may have to do some upgrading to get acceptable performance to turn 25's Hope this helps! |

Re: DS with 25's
The jakes double a-arm lifts in 6" say they can fit a 25" tire I think. May be worth looking at it or the allsports 7.5" version.
I just installed their 4" version and it said it fits a 23" tire. I only went with 22" though so they would have a little extra space. |

Re: DS with 25's
I went ahead with an 8" a arm lift and the tires fit like a glove!
