Radio help.....
I have a 2007 Club Car Precedent and I just installed a radio in it. I have read that connecting the positive wire directly to one battery will quickly ruin that battery. Will the same thing happen if I use alligator clips and connect and disconnect before and after every golf outing? Should I put the run / tow switch in the tow position before connecting and disconnecting the positive wire? I appreciate any help.

Re: Radio help.....
Anytime you mess with the battery cables, you should put the tow/run in tow.
If your cart has 4 12 volt batts: Running your radio off one 12 volt battery: You will probably shorten the life of the entire pack due to unbalancing the pack. You should look into getting a 48 to 12 volt converter and then powering your radio from that. I'm sure others will chime in as well. Good luck, Steve |

Re: Radio help.....
You could also add a separate battery to run just the accessories like radio, lights, power port etc..
