04 cc iq brake problem
Been waiting a year for new batteries finally got them. Everything on cart working good now but the brakes. I installed new brake shoes before I parked the cart because of the batteries a year ago and I still have a brake problem. They work fine when the weather is dry but if it rains and the pads get damp the brakes lock up and it slides the rear tires. The cart was doing this when I bought it and I have yet to figure it out. A little about the cart, single leaf rear springs, flip seat, 22x11x10 tires, I think around a 5 inch lift that has 1 u bolt across the axle and yes the u bolts are tight. Any info would be appreciated on this problem as I have 2 young children that love the cart but it will literally snap your neck when the brakes are damp.

Re: 04 cc iq brake problem
I have an '04 CC that was doing basically the same thing. The fix for me was a longer brake cable. I replaced the shortest one, driver's side I think, and now it works great. Lifting the cart made the original brake cable too short.
