. . . DS production may have already ended with current model year . . .

So the big question is, do I return this one and spend a few more hundred for the precedent?

Personally I would get the precedent for only $300 more just because it's so much newer. Really would depend if I planned to mostly use as is, or if I planned to fully mod and replace everything anyway. Just my opinion.

Great question RJC, I've thought about doing another cart? I like projects, I like my DS but have considered doing/building somthing else.

Can we get some more input from the pro's? I love the torque but I like the speed also!

Merry Christmas, Steve

I don't plan on replacing everything, but I do want to make it unique, and the only hills this will see is if I ever trailer it to a golf course.

My current DS (just bought yesterday) is a 36 volt and I am SHOCKED as to how slow this thing is.

So I guess you'll be missing out on 25 mph and customization all around? Good looking cart, just not a crud car fan.

I would go with the Precedent, don't like 36 volt carts.
