Default Offset

Okay, I am looking at wheels and tires.... Just looking at this point, but I am curious as to what offset is best to keep the tires tucked but not rub.

I did a search and can't find it. I have a 2001 CC DS.

You need a 3-4 offset to tuck them - but they are rare in aftermarket most are 40millimeter offset. And will stick out the inch

Non lifted....

Offset of 3 or 4?

I have seen some with a "centered" offset, not sure what that means or how it would fit.
