Default Radio hookup question

I have a 48V Club Car and want to know how to wire a 12 V radio, do I need a converter to step down and wiring to two batteries?

That, or install a dedicated 12V battery to power the radio. If you are going to power ONLY a radio, a small garden tractor type of battery would work. If you are going to install lights, LEDs, etc, you would want a larger deep cycle battery.

There are many threads that deal with this issue. Do a search and you'll find lots of information on the pros and cons of each method of powering your radio.
