On Board Computer
I am having a problem with OBC activation.
I am showing 48 volts for batteries. I installed a new OBC. I reset OBC. I checked all fuses. I checked continuity of gray wire through charger plug all the way to charger. Charger relay does not click. New batteries installed 1 month ago. Daymond1 |

Re: On Board Computer
Can you verify that the charger works okay on another cart?
Can you check voltage in the charger receptacle... to see what the charger sees when you plug it in? |

I should also state that the new OBC that I received from Clubcar looks like it had been installed before. I contacted the vendor that I received it from and they said that they (Clubcar) do that when they test the OBC.

Re: On Board Computer
Apply voltage from the MAIN negative (B-) post of the battery pack all the way down this same wire to the charger relay. If it clicks, you've got a bad OBC. The voltage you're seeing at the receptacle is perfectly normal. You won't see full battery voltage at the receptacle until the OBC detects a charger and turns it on.

Re: On Board Computer
I found a bad connection at + cable to charger plug. It looked good from top, but when I removed the cable it was corroded. Cleaned it and charger works perfactley. Now have 48 volts to charger plug. That is from charger plug + to negative at battery.
