This is the introductions forum Big Hoss. Where you introduce yourself. It says "NO TECH QUESTIONS" right up top. They will probably ask you to start a new thread in the Club Car forum, or move it there for you. Just a heads up & welcome to BGW.

You should have more than 48V for your total battery pack. First, if you have a " tow-run " switch, place it in tow! Do this anytime you are going to work on the electrical system! Remove and clean all the battery connecting cables ( one by one ) and reconnect them. Take the tops off the batteries and assure you have water just covering over the plates ( no more or the electrolyte will expand and run all over everything ) Now let the charger run until it turns itself off! The batteries must have a proper charge to even start to do diagnostic tests! Note that the charger may run up to 16hrs if the batteries are real low! Here's a chart for specific gravity and voltage. These readings are to be taken several hours ( preferably 12hrs ) after charging the batteries!
