Default Re: New wheels and Speed code 4

My batteries are 6 months old. Not sure how the batteries were taken care of when the previous owner bought them. Maybe the dude didn't take care of them correctly. I've kept them fully charged at all times since I got the cart last month.

Anybody know anything else I can do to the batteries to get the maximum out of them?

Not a huge deal. I'm fine with 17 mph just thought it was strange. Also put on the new sneaks too. Next is seat covers and i'm good for a little while.

Anybody have same issue with speed code 4? Thanks

I have a CC that I was told had speed code 4. On stock tires I get a max of 17/18.1 MPH. On a decline when I get up to the 17.6 MPH the cart acts like it cuts out. It accelerates quickly up to that point and then feels like brakes are kinda put on. Does yours do that? Anyone know if this is normal?

Thanks CartTrader

Totally normal, this is called regen braking, it keeps the cart from going too fast going down a hill...
You are probably on code 4 since you are getting 18 mph

I decided on getting the speedy link and went from 13-14 MPH to 16 MPH. In hindsight, I wish I would have taken the advice of a few posters on here that suggested spending a little more and getting the PQ Bandit.

I can live with that. Where can I find some cheap Deka's?

Thanks! Wheels and tires are ITP, tire size is 205 50 10. No lift, no rubbing.
