GE and ADC motors
Can the GE and ADC motors be swapped out on IQ CCs? If one goes bad can do you have to use the same kind of motor? Is one better than the other? I know it is easier to put the speed magnet in the ADC motor over the GE motor. At least that is what I have gotten reading thru the threads. Exactly what is involved in putting the speed magnet in the GE motor. Does the motor have to be taken out or can it be done like the ADC motor by just taking off the sensor can and pulling off the magnet and replacing with the speed magnet? Is it on differently? Harder to take off?
