Bad Batteries.....

Sneaky old batteries show a charge until put under a load. They they drop out. Put a voltmeter on the pack and drive up hill, what does the meter reading drop to?

All batteries are less than two years old, it is on a island, so no hills, testing with volt meter and load tester.

Does any of the wiring, or for that matter, anything get hot? Be careful, a poor connection will get hot enough to melt the battery post!

We need the information I ask for. Also we need to know:
What each electronic component is IF not stock.

1. What make and year cart is it you are asking about?
2. What type of use; like; campground, hunting, neighborhood?
3. How many people ride on it?
4. Flat, mild, or hilly terrain?
5. Soft or firm footing? Mud, sand, or streets ?
6. What size tires?
7. How fast do you want the cart to go?

If you have a " run-tow " switch make sure you place it in " tow " before you do any electrical work on your cart! Now remove the cable that gets hot and look for any corrosion or signs of burning. If you can, replace that cable and see if this helps with your problem. Also the info " ScottyB " requested is important! Oversize tires ( for example ) will cause a much larger current draw through the system. This will cause issues with stock components! Scotty, as well as other sponsors on the forum will have all the upgrades you will need for trouble free operation!
