2010 Precedent Brake lights Don't Work
My brake lights don't work. The headlights, tail lights and turn signals and horn all work. I have checked all connections and fuses are good. Is the culprit the brake light switch? Thanks for any help.

assuming they worked before, I believe there is another fuse under the floor mat behind the brake pedal. Check that..

There is a fuse there, the push button re-set type. It was open. I re-set it but brake lights still don't work. Is there another fuse in addition to this one?

Is the switch gone bad? Is the switch working at all? Can you test it?

If you have a meter, check to see if the switch is getting power
maybe remove the switch and put a 9 volt battery to it and test it (triggered) to see if you get 9 volts through it when it is engaged. |

Re: 2010 Precedent Brake lights Don't Work
If the fuse was open, something caused that.. When you reset it and tried again, did it re-trip? If not, you can check the switch just by touching the two wires together, lights come on, replace switch, no, start checking the power circuit, if you have 12 volts at the switch and out, check the timer and power in and out of it

I reset it and it didn't re-trip. I'll have to get meter and start checking. Thanks.

There should be an attachment with a spring to the brake rod under the floor of your cart, they come lose quite often, it should be attached to that reset button u speak of under the floor.
