I am trying to figure out why a 2002 club car is loosing power and then regaining power after depressing accellerator a few times. Any ideas?

Re: 2002 club car electric
Need a little bit more info on your cart. is it an IQ, resistor, or regen? Look up the serial # and post the first 5 letters and digits and some more help will come your way. And a bit more info on "loosing power and then regaining it after depressing accellerator a few times" At full speed? cruising? coasting? going on flat or down/up hill. just starting out etc.

cq0238-203249. It does it mostly after stopping and starting at putting green, but has done going at cruising speed.

Re: 2002 club car electric
This is a sepex drive cart. I suspect you might be having trouble with throttle peddle linkage itself.
With the key out of the cart inspect the linkage as somebody operate the peddle and see if you can detect any looseness or inconsistency in it's operation. |
