the difference in amp rating is explained as follows... a lead acid battery has a somewhat deceptive Ah rating. A trojan T-105 has a 225 Ah rating =225 amps for 1 hour, right? Not so fast! they strech it out over 20 hours. in realistic terms that means it will deliver 11.25 amps for 20 hours (225/20). if you wanted to consume all the batterys energy in 1 hour, the rating would be reduced by around 40 percent. see what i mean by deceptive rating? the lithium battery is not rated at a 20 hour rate, but a true 1 hour rate. that is how an 80 Ah lithium pack can slightly outperform a 150 Ah T-1275 wet battery pack. its all in the tricky rating system.

we have a 7 pound lithium batt in our race car it is impressive the recharge time is amazing. holds up really well. i dont think it is cost effective for normal carts yet but if u r a speed nut or like being the first go for it
