Battery Meter Question

Is it common for my LED meter to fluctuate between 10ths while parked? For instance, my meter will fluctuate between 50.2 and 50.3 or say 49.4 and 49.5. It goes back and forth about every second. I thought I found the culprit in my 12v converter, but I have since disconnected it and still have the issue. It does not do it all of the time. I had the meter connected to the secondary side of the switch. I moved it to the primary side to eliminate the possibility of a faulty switch as the problem. Any ideas? and do you think this is anything to be concerned about?

Mine dones it every so often. However, the next day it will always settle in on the lower number. Batteries loose juice over time, even when not used. No problems here.

Yes that is normal. The meter can't make up it's mind when the voltage is between tenths.

A little more info concerning the fluctuation meter...

I have noticed when I plug up my voltage regulator back up it fluctuates much more, nearly constant. It stops most of the time when I unplug it. Do you still think I shouldn't worry about it or should I get a new regulator?

What do you mean when you plug up the reducer? Do you mean when you turn it on? Is the meter running through a switch, or straight to the pack?

Meter is on all of the time. The voltage regulator is a 4 wire regulator. Voltage is required to power it. I have it hooked To the pack with a bullet connector. I did this to easily disconnect it from the pack when necessary. When I say plugged, I am referring to connecting it to the pack via the bullet connector.

Ok, gotcha.
Honestly, I would not worry about it. As long as everything works with the regulator, it should be fine.
I don't know why the regulator would be causing the meter to change readings...somebody may know
