Need more info about kit. The ones I have used come with a section of wire with a fuse or circuit breaker in it. Is that what u have? If so, one end hooks to the blue wireon the front right battery. The othe end hooks under the cowling between the batteries. It is a blue wire also. It is at top center when you remove center cover. Hope this helps???

All the ones I have seen or read about are like the one ur talking about the blue wire from breaker hooks to positive # 4 battery goes thru breaker and hooks to blue wire under console. I am sure that is not a netural if so the breaker wires would be a dead short.I beleive that feeds pos to lights am looking for someone to tell where the lights get a netural from.noone of the wiring kits i have seen or read about does not show or mention the netural.looks like club car or someone would show this.

Thanks for your reply

If you have 4 12 volts, and the controls are mounted in the center between them, there is a small blue wire in the existing wiring harness that isn't plugged up to anything. That is the wire you use. It is the wiring harness under the cover near the solenoid and controller. It is hard to find sometimes because of grime and sometimes it is hidden between other wires. Then, that wire connects to the battery on the passengers side most forward outside post (battery #2). It usually has a blue pigtail on it. DO NOT connect to the blue pigtail on the main positive on the drivers side. That is 48 volts.

Thanks Steve but this is not what I am looking i know how to get 12 Volts off of a set of 12 volt bafferies also a set of 6 volt batteries. What I want to know is 04 thru 07 prcedents are pre wired for lights.Light kits you buy come with a wiring harness that plugs in to the prewired carts it tells you to hook a blue wire to # 4 positive run it over to a wire in console.that takes care of the posotive question is where is the netural tied in at.It Bugs me that any of the drawngs show where lights get the netural from.I am installing lights on a 07 next will ohm all out and post when I find out.

. . . if you look at a schematic for the 04-07 Precedent, there is a negative connection in the factory supplied harness (I believe the 12 pin connector) that the light kit harness plugs into . . . it runs to the same battery that the blue wire for light kit comes off of . . . see pages 12-4 thru 12-5 here:

2007 Precedent

. . . that may be why no mention is made in installation instructions for the Precedent's light kit for connecting an additional ground wire . . .
