Default My 09 Precedent Plan, what do you think?

I've been reading on here all day and now have a plan for my 09 CC Precedent that I'd like to run past you guys. I want to add head and tail light, LED rope lights underneath, an Elite dash with speakers and a radio, and a 12vdc aux port. I think I'd like to swap out my factory volt meter for a Datel DMS-20LCD-2-DCM digital meter.
I've looked at both side and I think I want to go with an aux deep cycle battery in the baggage well with a battery tender. I plan to run this to a distribution block behind the dash. I'll mount a couple switches in the dash for the lights. I'm thinking a basic light kit for the Precedent will work, since I will have 12 vdc, and I can make my own rear harness, since the 09 in not prewired.
So what have I missed?

I would put the accessory battery behind the dash - shorter runs for wiring and leaves your bagwell for future upgrades

I agree with OT definitely put the Aux Battery behind the dash it will make it alot easier when you run your wires also when you order your distribution block make sure you get the one with negative bus built in it will make it alot easier and give it cleaner look..The Datel meter is a great choice as I purchased one from ScottyB and I'm using it to monitor both my pack and my Aux Battery by just adding a mini rocker switch under it to switch back and forth between the two.Any plans for paint or wheels and tires or lift or lower and also what about seat covers? The options are endless on the upgrades you can do on these Precedents but sounds like you are off to a good start good luck and make sure you post pics as we all love the pics..

Thanks for the replies. Ill look at that battery placement. From what I've read, my model doesn't have anything under the dash to hold the battery when you cut it, but I'm sure I can come up with a way to hold it in there. That will make a cleaner install.
I plan on a 6" Allsports lift and a set of 12" Aggressor with 23 AT tires.
I have a factory blue body that I like, so no plan for paint. I covered the tan top with Herculiner bed liner in black. Ill get a set of blue and black seat cover to round out my black/blue theme.

Ps. I like the idea of the rocker switch to toggle the volt meter between the two batteries! That's why I posted, bring on the ideas!

Checkout some of Offtwice ideas on his build I have used a few of his ideas myself and one of my favorite mods is changing the stock key switch which practically everyone has a key to it to a Harley Barrel 2 position key switch that way have a unique key that only you have. You can also add diamond plating to floor, rocker panels etc..sounds like you have a good list to get started with so make sure you add pictures, any plans on upgrading Controller, motor, solenoid and most importantly the cables?

Also you could switch out the stock steering wheel for something cooler looking just need to get proper adapter and steering wheel and you can also get SS Column cover for it also

I think I'd like to swap out my factory volt meter for a Datel DMS-20LCD-2-DCM digital meter.

jimmyb, if factory is a light I was under the impression you could not remove it. may check on this.
