Post Sending it to PQ

After a few months in Bahrain, finally home to start the next re-do. Got a couple of DS carts for free, I haven’t used PQ before, so I am sending motor for upgrade, I am sure it will be great. Pictures are the before, I will post the after when it returns. Hope PQ doesn’t mind, I am sending it in a “padded” Fire House Subs pickle bucket. Best things for UPS; just pick it up by the handle…

I wish I could get a couple carts for free! Are you having PQ do the Bandit upgrade or what are you having done?

Bandit... this will be another WWP cart. Free DS's are far and few between... the wife got these while I was gone.

Received motor back, failed to take pics... Installed with all the other mods and again great results. 36 mph on flat ground, 29ish on slight inclines, maxed speedo at 40 on downhill. Great investment, taking out tomorrow for distance run to see how far the battery pack will allow before going to 60% level.

Set up:
Replaced stock rear-end gears with 6:1 (Carts Parts Plus)
HD electronic (cables /solenoid/F&R switch)
500 GE controller
Rear tires – 255/50/10 (DOT approved (35psi))
Front tires – 225/45/10 (DOT approved (35psi))
36V motor to PQ for “Bandit” upgrade (running on 48V system)

Fully charged and properly maintained battery pack. Believe it or not, the tire pressure makes a huge difference in speed, the resistance from a slushy tire to a properly inflated solid tire…

The proper safety equipment is also recommended… stopping at higher speed on “un-improved” brake system will get you killed or crashed into something. I have four wheel disk brakes installed for stopping on a dime. Seat belts to keep you in the LSV on corners, I stopped “two wheeling” corners after an altercation with the local authorities for speeding in a 25 mph zone (ticket issued).

WWP? Is that Wounded Warrior Project? If it is, I'd love to be a part of helping that be successful!

Yes, it is the Wounded Warrior Program. I build carts for WWP personnel that I meet when I go to Bethesda. Able to talk with personnel and familes to detail carts to their needs. Sort of a personal project, I can relate to several situations due to a few tours in the sand.

Awesome! Tell them how much they are loved and appreciated for their service to our nation from me! That's a great project you do! If there's ever something that I can do out here in California to locate parts, request donations or whatever, please IM me and I'll do what I can!
