New Club Car Batteries made by Johnson Controls
My dealer just replaced 5 batteries (8V) under warranty on my 2010 Precedent. I purchased the cart used, paid the $35 fee and had warranty transferred to me last August. I purchased the 6th battery so I would have a completely new pack. They are PD+ PowerDrive Batteries made by JCI (Johnson Controls). Part no. is 103793001. I haven't been able to find the specs on them. They seem like good heavy duty batteries. Once installed, I fully charged them. It took only about 45 mins. for charger to turn off. I then made sure water levels were correct. I rode down the the course and putted around and drove back. Probably a mile and a half. Put them on charger again. Charger ran for less than 30 mins and turned off. I went out to dinner, came back and checked pack voltage. It was 51.8V. I will be interested to see how these batteries perform. If anyone has any info on specs, I would love to see it.
