Default Buzzer & 1/2 speed in forward

Just put the 12v-8v conversion kit in my 08 Precedent. When I got everything hooked up and had power, the cart would go forward when the switch was in reverse. Would go backward with the buzzer if the switch was in forward. I found posts suggesting swapping the blue and orange cables at the motor, so I did that. Now the cart goes backward with the switch in reverse and forward with the switch in forward. The problem is that the forward speed is half of the reverse speed, and the buzzer sounds when the switch is in forward. I've double checked the wiring on the FNR switch and it matches what the instructions, and matches what I've read on the forum.
What can I do to get the proper forward speed, and have the buzzer buzz in reverse?

Thanks...

I think the wires were right at the motor and your problem is switched wiring at the controller, the wires that tell the controller you are in reverse or forward.

. . .per the schematic, on the 16 pin connector at the controller, the white wire at pin #8 is forward and the blue wire at pin #16 is reverse . . . on motor, A1 is a green wire, A2 is white, F1 is blue and F2 is orange . . . hope this helps . . .

Look at your controller. The Blue and Orange wires are labeled on the controller S1 and S2...... Hook up S1 on controller to F1 on the motor and match S2 on controller to F2 on the motor. Tell me what you get.

I put the orange and blue wires back where they were on the motor. This change had me going in reverse, buzzing, with the switch in the Forward position. I swapped the two outside wires in the F/R switch, and that fixed me up. I'm now going forward when it's in Forward, and buzzing backward when it's in Reverse. My speeds are normal, in the code 2 range at ~12-13 mph forward and 6-7 mph backwards.

How did everything look when you got the kit installed? I think your install went faster than mine.

Looks good. I had the same issues you did with the connections on the solenoid. I have to figure out what I have to do about the lights now that there's no harness, I know there's a different kit, but I'm thinking about also getting the 48-12 converter so I can add more stuff later... All in all, I'm really happy with it. Thanks!

Even with the converter, you will need the bucket harness.
Maybe someone can answer this question. Is the bucket harness for 08 and up club car precedents the same one needed for the 12v to 8v conversion? The link below shows one and it looks just like the one I got for the conversion.

Same harness. You're basically converting your car to the newer style, therefore you use all the new stuff.
