State of Charge?
I read the sticky with the chart about State of Charge. My 2010 Precedent with 2010 batteries (Battery sticker is F10, June 2010?) completely charged, as soon as the charger cuts off reads 52 volts. After 12.5 hours they read 50.3 volts. Based on this information, can I determine the condition of the batteries? I just got the cart last week and have not had a chance to drive it around enough to see how well the batteries do. Any input is appreciated. I am going through a learning curve since this is my first cart.

Re: State of Charge?
. . . normal "no load" pack voltage should be between 50-52v . . . testing "under load" is the true indicator of pack condition . . .

Re: State of Charge?
Your charger should be bringing the pack up to 63v at cut-off. The pack should settle and maintain 50.9v 12-24 hours after the charge has completed.
Call the dealer you bought it from and tell him you have a problem with the on board computer or batteries. |
