Default powerdrive2 charger fuse bypass

I just picked up a 2003 club car and the charger was opened up and the fuse has been removed. The cart is completely dead. The batteries are only 1.5 years old.I was wondering if i could bypass the fuse until i could order a new one so i could try to charge the cart up and test the batteries. Also what do i need to do to get around the low voltage cut off on the charger.I have read you can bypass it in the charger But i not sure how) or unhook the batteries and charge each one with a 12v charger on 2 amps for approx 30 minutes to help build them up.Thanks for any and all help

Default Re: powerdrive2 charger fuse bypass

You will have to charge the batteries individually(6v) or in pairs(12v) to get enough voltage to get the charger to kick in when you get it going. It takes a set voltage to turn on the charge relay on the charger.
