Where to get batteries in MD or DE?
Well, it looks like it's time for some new batts. This will be my first time replacing batts. Can anyone recommend a dealer in Northern Delaware, Northeastern Maryland or Southeastern Pennsylvania? I would prefer Trojans, but will consider other brands if nearby. Or, does anyone ship them without a bazillion dollar shipping charge? Thank you!

They will have to order from their supplier, but they can get golf cart batteries. Good luck! |

If you were over near the beach area in southern Delaware I could fix you up with some Trojans with no sales tax.

Re: Where to get batteries in MD or DE?
There's an online battery company called "Brad's Batteries" as I recall. I got a price from them of $149.99 for 12v Trojan's (my application) and then called around locally to get a price match from a cart shop. They didn't match it but they came off their price significantly which saved me decent cash. It was Nick's Custom Carts that I got the best deal from and they delivered the batteries to me. Maybe you can get a deal trying this price match trick too? Good luck. Total cost for me was about $800 including taxes.

Edit: I couldn't Google "Brads Batteries", but did find "Brad's Golf Cars, Inc". I assume it's the same place you were talking about. Edit: Their website now says that they don't ship. |

Re: Where to get batteries in MD or DE?
Yep, that's it. I had it wrong.
Here's the link if anyone needs it: http://www.bradsgolfcars.com/batteries.htm I wasn't suggesting having them shipped. That would kill any savings you got. But they have the Trojan T1275's for $149.00 each! Most ask around $180-$190 for each battery. If someone will price match in your area or at least recognize Brad's golf car.com's price, you're in business! Let us know what you find! 7CLUB |
