Default 97 CC Sudden Quit

SN A9726-581535. Worked fine Sunday, No go on monday. Always kept on charger. All six batteries test good voltage and good SG. All wiring inspected and find no problems. FNR rocker switch seems to work. One (of the two) solenoids clicks - sometimes - with pedal. Backup alarm works - sometimes - when R selected and pedal pushed. Inspected potentiometer - looks fine. With F selected, pedal push causes a very slight (few milliseconds) motor action, just enough to move the cart about 1/8 inch. I've read through the stickies, studied the schematic, but don't know which solenoid to jumper. They're both behind the passenger side right next to each other. Wish I could find a service manual. Very grateful for any good advice and list of TS steps. Thanks!

Not sure which one is the one to jump but which one is connected to the small wire to batteries would think it's the other, one on right of the other.

Update, the solenoid with the resistor coil wire does click when F or R is selected and the accelerator pushed. The other solenoid (the one connected to +V batt) does not click under any circumstance. I jumped that one, with key on and F or R selected and nothing happened (wheels off ground). Another observation, there is a lengthy delay (like a minute) of the reverse buzzer after switching the key on and selecting R. Also, the buzzer will stay on, even with key off, until rocker to neutral. Maybe by design? Finally, I did the OBC reset procedure, twice, without any benefit. Looking for next troubleshooting steps. Can OBC be bypassed to test motor? If yes, can I jumper directly from battery to motor? Specifically which terminals? Thanks!!!

98 CC here. Sometimes my buzzer works, sometimes not. When it is working, it buzzes in reverse with the key on or off. Has to be in center or forward to shut it off.

I can live with or without the buzzer if I can get this cart running again. I've apparently used wrong terms for parts. The OBC and the big black box are not the same thing - right? If the OBC only regulates charging, it's okay since I can still charge just fine. Will isolate and test the motor today. If motor is good, has to be bad black box - yes?

Not necessarily. Motors & Controllers do not typically fail when not in use. Testing them now is probably a not needed.
It's more likely you have an intermittent micro-switch (ms), a loose connection, or a bad solenoid.

I recall CC carts that had the reverse buzzer work with the key off, that's normal. Sounds to me like the main solenoid is not activating. Can you use a meter and test the operation of all of the ms on the F&R? If they are good test the one in the V-glide as well.

Today I isolated and tested the motor and it ran. I have checked every connection I can find and they are tight. I also sprayed the multi-pin connectors with contact cleaner to be sure. I have not seen any micro switches in this CC, and don't see any on the schematic. Where are they located? The regen solenoid clicks on and off with the accelerator. The other solenoid is silent, but I jumpered the large posts and got nothing. My FNR rocker switch has five wires to it, but the schematic shows only three. Puzzling. It looks to be a sealed switch. Is there a better schematic to show me which pins should have continuity in F and in R ? Surely appreciate your help!

Sounds like you are working on the dreaded RegenII model. FSIP has a good diagram on it.

Interesting. I found a FSIP diagram for Regen II(attached), and it also shows only 3 leads to FNR rocker. I have those three, and two more. Surprised they don't appear on either schematic. Is the accel potentiometer what you call the "V glide"? Did not see a microswitch in there either, but I will look again in the morning. Thanks!
