Question Question about hauling

In a couple of weeks, I am going to take my Club Car to the coast. It is about a 200 mile trip on a trailer at about 70 MPH. My question is, should I take the windshield off before hauling it that far, that fast?

Yes. It can't blow off the cart if it's inside the tow vehicle wrapped in an old blanket.

For that speed it might be wise to take the top off as well. I had a CC roof crack in the front due to the air pressure while towing at freeway speed. The top is easy to take off and will slid into the back of an SUV or pickup.

I would pop the windshield, but the top will be fine, unless its really windy, then it may cause some sway.

Yes I agree with this, the top should be fine, but definitely take the windshield off...

I feel like it is the right thing to do but I see so many people going back and forth to the Beach on my trips that leave the windshields on, I thought maybe they new something that I didn't. Anyway, it is only a couple of bolts, I would rather be safe that sorry. Thanks for everyone's input.
