Default Precedent Motor Wiring

I made up some 2ga. cables for my 07 Precedent. Did the install yesterday. Everything was good until I did the final wiring on my motor. I thought I knew the way the A1 and A2 cable were hooked up, but when I tried it, reverse was forward and visa versa. I am 99.9% sure I got the blue and orange (F1 and F2) on the controller the way they were (I never took them off of the motor). So, I switched the A1 and A2 cables and got nothing. So I put them back in running backwards mode.
Should I just switch the F1 and F2 wires and assume I was crazy for thinking I was positive about the order they were hooked on the controller to begin with?

The same thing happened to me when I changed out controllers. I was with a buddy and marked the cables. WTH? Had to reverse F1/F2 to get things straight
