Rear End Bearings
Hey everyone first time user here. I have a 1999 Club Car 48V. Could anyone point me in the right direction for replacing the bearing on the R/H outboard side of the rear end? Mine is making nasty noise so I have ordered one but don't really know what I am getting into.

Re: Rear End Bearings
Well I successful replaced that bearing but unfortunately not the noise. Evidently it is coming from the rear end. I'm guessing I will just have to take apart the rear to figure out which bearing is bad.

Re: Rear End Bearings
It may be the motor bearing instead of the rear end bearings.. I would take motor off, then roll car to listen for noise. On a 99 club car you should be due for a motor bearing and maybe replacing the little plastic guide ring if it has one...

Re: Rear End Bearings
Phasetim you are the man! I took the motor off and got my brother to tow me around with his cart, no noise. I had looked at the motor bearing previously but did not see anything wrong. I replaced the bearing and presto, no noise. Thanks a million.
