Default Battery Charging/Is this normal?

Got my cart Sat., rode about 15 min, parked and hooked up to charger. It has been left on the charger since then..until today and I rode about 20 min, parked and plugged up. The charger only stayed on about 2 hrs tonight, which seemed a little short in my mind. I unplugged it, hit the lights and left them on for about 5 min just to see if the charger would come back on when I plugged it back in. It did, and was registering 6 on the meter. It's been 10 min and I just checked to see if the charger was still running...it was not. It's got brand new T875's. Is this normal?
Also the first time I take off, then come to a stop and start inching down on the accelerator I hear and "blip" of a backup buzzer. Only happened once, but on both days I have ridden it.
Thanks for any input and help.

I dont see anything wrong. The cart acts up with new bats, the low bat light will come on sometimes too. Give it a few charges and it will be fine.

Oh ok...I was starting to wonder if maybe the plug might not be making good contact. On my other cart if it registered 6, it still took several hours before it would cut off. Had no idea that new batteries could cause the cart to act up sometimes. Good to know, now I feel like a relieved new parent! Thanks Speedchaser!
