[QUOTE=4vertical;90355]BTW I just scrapped a 79 out. there is not over $100 in aluminum in the frame and related parts at the prices I got. I also scrapped out the copper wires and the batteries. I was given the cart for hauling it away though.

I get $10 ea. for golf batteries. That alone is $60. And here aircraft type aluminum (which is what`s in a CC chassis) goes for .89 # So I still see $100 in aluminum, not counting batteries etc.

Prices fluctuate. Some places only want to give me 1 or 2 dollars ea. for the batteries. They are ripping people off. Same places and similar don`t want to give what aluminum is worth. I`ve been getting .68 to .74 # just for aluminum cans. I looked around and found the best places to take scrap when I have it. BUT basically what I was saying, is that $100 for CC cart is a good price. Just for spare parts and scrap if nothing else.
