Default DEKA Batteries

Has anyone had any luck with the DEKA golf cart batteries?

I've got a set in my 48v DS and seem to give pretty good range.
The price is certainly right for them

I have a set for my 97 36v ezgo, bought them in spring of 07 and still going strong, clean them 2x year and they still look new, the NAPA stores in our area sell them. At the time they were higher rated (and cheaper) than trojan. Actually I checked with NAPA on Saturday and DEKA makes all of their batteries.

I would stay away from CHEAP BATTS , you get what your pay for
Stay with Trojan or Crown go for max . Weight and max amp/hr

Cheers !

DEKA's are not cheap, possibly inexpensive especially if you can get someone to give you the wholesale price from a NAPA store, maybe call someone you know that does auto work. They are not like the sam's clubs energizers (cheap and lightweight).

I installed Trojan x 4 in my cart last year and have had good luck with them.

I keep reading post that DEKA batteries are cheap, cheap price are cheap made? I beleive as long as you follow the thread above on how to break new batteries in and the batteries are made for a golf cart you should be ok.

I was given 9 month old US 2200's when my buddy went to 48 volt and I had great luck with those batteries.
