Default 00 DS works in F but not in R

I have a 2000DS I am looking at that works fine in forward but not in reverse. The solenoid clicks but I am not seeing a drop in voltage on controller B- and M-. All wiring looks good, micros on f/r check out too. Cart has mcor not vglide and any help on where to look or test next would be appreciated. Thanks

Took apart f/r and sanded terminals so they are good. It has to do with moisture somewhere because now that it's dried out it is working. I have never seen anything like this. If mcor works in forward it should work the same in reverse right? Does throttle go through controller the same in forward as reverse? Pretty sure it does but I am at a loss here. Had no reverse while forward worked perfect and as the day went on reverse started kicking in only with pedal to the floor and then slowly started working higher and higher. Solenoid clicked the whole time at normal position which really makes me scratch my head.

. . . you never mentioned "moisture" until now . . . was it hosed down/power washed?

Have you tried spraying with WD40. That is a great water repellant. In fact that is what is was originally designed for. Club Car maintenance manual suggests spraying charger plug inlet with WD40 to keep our moisture. Might want to check with more knowledgeable people about if WD40 is permissible. But if it's just wires and connections, it should be fine.

"According to the company that makes WD-40: WD-40 literally stands for water displacement 40th attempt. That's the name straight out of the lab book used by the chemist who helped develop WD-40 back in 1953. Norm Larsen, was attempting to concoct a formula to prevent corrosion, a task which is done by displacing water. Norm's persistence paid off when he perfected the formula for WD-40 on his 40th try."

I repair golf carts all day so I have a good understanding how they work but this is an issue that I have never seen and its obviously due to moisture. The problem of finding the part that is succumbing to the problem is the issue. I have ruled out f/r switch and 3 micro switches. As far as I know mcor should work the same no matter if its forward or reverse. I personally think its the controller but I need someone more experienced to tell me why the controller outputs voltage to motor correctly in forward but not in reverse when measuring with DVM at b- and m-? Solenoid is working both ways properly

Swap the black wire with the white wire on the rear-most micro switch and see what you've got. You should be going in reverse and not forward. My money is on a bad microswitch or a bad half-speed resistor. Both minor and easy to repair.

Switched wires and problem follows to forward. Where is the resistor located? Don't think there is one or it's far down the harness where I don't see it.
