Re: 1979 Club Car Project
Best thing to do is to find a wiring diagram and go one wire at a time to make sure it's all in the right place. I believe there are sticky on this forum with diagrams, just have to look. I am going thru the same thing right now with an EZGO, haven't got it straight yet but getting close.
Hope that helps! good luck to you! Arin |

Re: 1979 Club Car Project
What you have is a caroche. I have had one for 20 years. Very reliable cart, the hydrolic brakes can suck though. If its all wired right, you should have 36 Volts at the end of the pos and neg cables coming from the batteries. There are 5 relays behind the batteries. The first on the left energizes the other 4. When you push on the throttle it should click. If it doesn't that may be your problem. You need to use a volt meter to check the 2 little wires on the relay to see if they energize when you press the throttle. The relays are the only thing I ever had go out on mine. Also, check all your connections. The voltmeter is your friend. Use it. It could be a number of other little switches but I never had any of them go out on mine. Good luck.
