Default 36v upgrade versus 48v

I have an old resistor 36v cart that I am going to upgrade to solid state controller and 48v. How does this configuration compare performance wise against a stock 48v cart? Top speed and torque comparison is my concer/courisity. No plans to upgrade motor.

Thanks

A 36v cart properly converted to 48v will run circles around all stock 48v carts and some upgraded one Series conversions usually run in the 18-20 mph range depending upon the cart, tires and accessories and components used.

Batteries, butit was time anyways. I bought 6, 8 volts batteries. After the batteries there is only 4 other components you will need and I bought all of them from Scotty B on here:

Speed Control (potentiometer) replaces te V-glide
Controller replaces the resistor/coil bank
48 volt solenoid
48 volt charger

Another thing I would suggest is need battery/motor cables. I had extra wire laying around so I made all of mine up.
