1995 DS runs even with no key???
Selector in fwd or Rev, still moves with no key or key in OFF. Disconnected ign sw at Selector switch but still will move except in Neutral.
Clicks heard when press/release accel pedal. Speed can be varied as long as battery is charged, but discharges if left in Fwd or Rev position at rest. Can I assume this is the solenoid sticking, supplying power to controller/selector/motor? I have no club car manual or wire diagram for this unit. This is my first effort to fix a golf cart. I have 23 years appliance repair background, reasonably strong electrical trouble-shooting. |

Sorry, but the wiring diagram for a 1995 DS is not listed. Only the Regen models are shown. the last Stickie shows only controller thumbnails. I think I need 5 posts to even get access to the proper diagrams, but still do not know where to find them. The diagrams are really secondary at this point. My first priority is to fix the "sticky something" that won't shut off power to anything. |

Solenoid could be stuck! Give it a whack with a screwdriver handle and see if the cart moves. Here's where to get a good one: http://www.cartsunlimited.net/

That's what I'm hoping is true. Haven't located the solenoid yet. Found the speed controller, F/R Selector, Resistor set.

Should be located right by the controller. B+ from battery pack will go to one side of it and the other side goes to the B+ on the controller.
