Early 90's club car runs intermittently
I have an early 90's club car that keeps having the same problems on and off. The cart will shake and quiver sounds like in the motor when you try to go. Sometimes it will run in reverse but not forward and other times in won't run at all-and then at other times it runs perfectly. I don't know what it could be! Anyone have any ideas?

Is this a resistor coil or controller cart? Have you checked the F&R switch for intermittent contacts? Any signs of arching?

Re: Early 90's club car runs intermittently
You have a problem with wires on atleast the three batteries closest to the passenger side. I would tug on each wire a little and see if one breaks off or is really loose.
