I'm buying a 2000 clubcar and was wondering how long it is
can i put it in the back of a short bed truck with out it sitting on the tailgate or does the back wheels or front have to sit on the tailgate i was going to pull a camper behind my truck also so i cant leave the tailgate down cause it will be to close to the trailer doesnt hit now but worried it will if i hit a bump or if i go up to much of a upgrade

WELCOME!!!
The DS will sit in the back of a Ford short bed truck. But, the tailgate will only close 1/2 way.......
I suppose you could stap it in and remove the tailgate?

oh yeah it does some what fit in the back of my dodge with the front bumper aganst the cab the rear wheels sit on the crack between the bed and the gate so i don't think the gate will close very far don't think it will make half way will have to experiment more may have to remove gate to put camper behind truck with cart and rear wheels may need a block of wood on bumper to help support rear wheels any other ideas would be great guess i will need to look into a larger truck

Most guys prefer the 8 ft bed. I guess the difference between the ford and chevy is a few inches? Anyway try putting it in backwards maybe the wheels are in the bed? Good Luck!!!
