Just bought a 1983 club car electric. Have a body question

I just bout this golf cart and got a very good deal. My problem is the body is all busted up. I have been researching this question but can not seem to get a direct answer so can I use newer model DS bodies and will they bolt directly to what I have? I found a 90's model body but I wasn't sure if it would work. Would anything need to be relocated like the charging plug location etc.... Any help is much appreciated.

It will basically bolt right on, so will the newer seats, bumpers, steer wheel, roof supports and roof, etc. Put a couple of shim washers under the hood (2 top center holes) when you bolt it on.

Thank you so much for the response. How new can I go per say? Is there a point I need to stop at so modification or any fab work isn't required? I wanna have some fun with this car so I am looking around in this forum to what everyone seems to be able to do relatively easily

I think any DS body other than the precedent body will fit as Scottyb said.

Ok thank you. I'm gonna snag this body then. It's just the rear and they want 50 bucks so I figured that was a good buy and ill look for a front as I see a good deal on one
