Stereos
I know I have been asking a bit and appreciate all of your input. I have searched the forum through and through to see about radios. I am looking to get peoples opinion. Do you use a marine radio, or regular car radio? Also, what about amplifiers?

Re: Stereos
this was mine last summer. since then I have added a sub under the seat between the motor and batteries firing down, component speaker up front and a Bluetooth xm, radio. Can live wireless stream thru the iphone easy. Can use Pandora, youtube, phone calls or whatever thru your phone. I use to use a cord with the old radio but this is really the way to go. good luck with it. paul

Re: Stereos
I am looking into getting a system on my cart as well and I did a little research and I know that the Marine Speakers have a weather resistant woofer. Depending on where your going to mount the speakers this might be a better solution.

Re: Stereos
2004hd,
Go with a marine radio, it will save you money in the long run. I went through 2 ea reg radio's untill I installed a marine 2 yrs ago. It rocks the woods pretty good. Steve |

Re: Stereos
I think I will go marine with the stereo. Read a lot about getting a regular car stereo and a marine case, but for peace of mind....
The setup came out good. I fabbed a bracket to make the bottle "float" in the bagwell. I havent hooked it up yet. Went through a ton of dynamat as the rear area around the sub i put 3 layers on to stiffen it up to eliminate vibration |
