Dont know about controller but motor looks good, it is an upgraded motor, probably get you 25 mph on stock wheels.

. . . that may be a 550 amp controller . . check the sides of the controller . . it should be marked with the amperage/voltage near base of unit . . . seems someone already beefed it up a bit . .

LGS 420 36/48v control

Company no longer in business.
Non repairable.
If it works, great.

Looks like a speed setup - what kind of top end speed are you getting?
Big tires could be a problem

Ok so my car runs right around 20mph (gps app on phone) on flat ground it is a series cart with no speed limiter. Is there any not to expensive way to bump it up? From what me and the guy at Prestige golf cars in Temecula can tell I have this motor http://www.gcartparts.com/motor4-55h...m36-48vcc.aspx is there anything I can do to bump it up?

You can run it on 48v to get some more RPMs out of it. By the way that control is 480 amps not 420 as originally posted.

I don't understand. My cart is a 48v. Are you saying There is a different way to wire it? All the upgrades where done By prestige in 2003.
