![]() Changing to 2ga, but I don't want to pull all the cable for an accurate measurement. If anyone has a complete shopping list, including lugs, I'd appreciate it. Individual measurements? My setup is identical to the diagram in the sticky. Sorry for the novice question. Anyone tried waytekwire.com? Mike

![]() Mike I would have to agree with Steve. I made my own 2 yrs ago and it cost me about $140, 2G welding cable. I ended up just crimping at 1st and then had to go back and solder every end and re heat shrink. Yes I enjoy working on stuff but IMO Scotty's cables is good $ spent. Steve

We have other carts in the family. Might make an afternoon of it and swap out a couple sets. Don't worry, you'll be getting a lot of my money. Controller/FR package will be clicked soon. We spoke yesterday - Rick of PQ is recommending a 700 amp for the Grizzly II torque motor. Are you going to make me measure? ![]() Mike | |

![]() It will take more than an afternoon Ha Ha. There are some post on here that that give you the correct lengths, just search for them. Something I learned was that the cables on top of the battery pack really don't need to be any longer other than to make the distance lug to lug. I added a little extra so the cable end's up making a little "S" The extra wire gets in the way when I'm removing caps to check the water level. The most important thing IMO is the lug end to wire connection! Thats why Scotty's are the best. Steve

![]() If you must do it yourself get a good crimper. Evdrives sells the cable, lugs and a crimper as well. But I think after you invest in a crimper you will see you are noit saving all that much. 40' Steve? That sounds like a lot but I guess if you have a DS and not IQ cart then you would use more.

![]() 29' vs 40' so I might be 11' off if we are talking a series cart. IMO I would order some extra. Steve
