Default Meter on New Batteries

I got 6 new 8 volt batteries on Saturday and installed in my 2000 DS CC , charged over night and got a 50.9 reading in the morning . Ran it down to roughly 50% charge as i read in the breakin' guidelines and charged over night. been doing is everyday since. Now the last 2 days i have been taking readings in the morning and finding 49.6 / 49.8 ?

is there something wrong or is the charger shutting off before there done ?
do i reinsert the charger again or run it down to 50% ?

thanks for your help ,

50.93 is what your batteries should read 12 hours after the charger turned off, the pack reading while charging should be around 63- 65 when the charger turn off, how many hours does it charge

Where does it say to run the pack down to 50% on new batteries?
Everything I've read says that new batteries should get many shallow discharge cycles = 10-25%
