Am I over charging my battery's?

Ok so I don't know if I'm doing a good thing or a bad thing. So I drove my cart last weekend until the bat light on my dash came on. My baby girl couldn't get enough ridding around in it so I was happy to have a little time together. But I digress. So when we got home I pluged it it and it charged threw the night and into the next day b4 shutting off. That day we only went out on a short 15-20 drive the. Pluged it back in. And Again it charged thew the night when I left for work the next morning it was still humming n e ways on Tuesday we went on a 10 min drive and once again same thing so tonigh when I got home I unplugged it and re pluged the charger to the cart with out even driving it and 4 hours later it was still charging I started to think about it and thought I better unplug it from the wall and disanect it from the cart as I don't want to kill 6mo battery's. should I be charging it every day even if I'm didn't drive it or once it shuts off let it be? Or what. I have the original 48v club ad charger. Thanks for any help ahead of time.

Not sure what the pack voltage is when the idiot light comes on but suspect it is below the battery manufactures recommended 50% discharge . Without a good reliable battery SOC indicator you really won't know.
If you are drawing the pack down real low they will take longer to recharge. If you unplug and recharge after a full charge the charger should go into an equalizing charge. Go to do once a month or so.
You should have a gauge so you don't have to guess whether or not you need a charge. Or start checking often with your DMM. Use this chart.
